A Whole New World: A Day In Utopia
As you read this story, truly envision it. See it as real. Feel how peaceful, stress-free, and truly happy this world would make you and all those suffering around the world. Let us create this reality in our minds, hearts, and souls.
You wake up to the warm kiss of sunshine on your face and the sound of birds singing joyously. You have gotten the perfect amount of sleep & feel rejuvenated, invigorated even. You stretch your muscles leisurely. The heavenly scent of fresh brewed coffee lures you out of bed. You pour that first, warm cup, just how you like it, and take the first satisfying sip. Another day in paradise begins, and it's not the sarcastic saying we so often heard in the past.
You don't have to rush off to work for a boss that doesn't appreciate you or an employer who sees you as easily replaced and is blind to your value. You gaze at the natural light peaking in the windows, and are intrigued at the beauty of it illuminating your jungle of plants in the foreground. Instead, you get to do the things that you love, and learn anything new that arouses your curiosity.
In fact, you have been learning about your favorite subject so long now, you have reached the expert level. You are now available as an expert for others to ask questions or discuss with you their ideas on the matter, or should I say, their contributions to humanity?
(Each person's curiosity is the drive in this new world. Each person's goal is to prosper, enjoy life and use their curiosity to create a better world, and every person's set of interests is beautifully unique and equally valuable.)
You open your drawers to pick out your clothes for the day. Oh no, your favorite shirt has a hole in it! No need to panic. You take it to the 3d printer, pick "keep original design," and put it in the shredder. Out pops your shirt, freshly cleaned and perfect as the day you bought it. You put on your favorite pants and discover they're getting too baggy for you. This stress free lifestyle has made it so much easier to get that stubborn weight off. You put them in and select "take in." You freeze as the laser scans you from the waist down, and the pants pop out. You slide them on, a perfect fit.
(After you've had your share of caffeinated zen, or tea, or water if you'd prefer, it's time to pick your next task. We have a choice of active (exercise) or passive (resting) fun, arts, crafts, environmental improvement or learning. For the sake of this exercise, I will pick active fun.)
You turn on the cymatic (sound powered) bug repeller (it creates a bubble of sound waves around you that parasitic insects can't penetrate.) You exit the house and head for the beautiful wooded area nearby. You take in the pure beauty of nature, breathing in the fresh air, thankfully. You remember a time not so long ago that the world was in crisis, and humans thoughtlessly destroyed it in pursuit of the dollar, and there were some cities where people wore masks due to such bad pollution. You tear up a bit. How could we have been so stupid? You shake your head. After giving up that way of life, and using the funds to create sustainability for all, we had been able to completely transform the world within just 5 short years. You are incredibly thankful we all finally put our feet down and woke up. You enjoy the remainder of your walk in silence and clearheadedness, soaking in the sights and sounds. Animals have made a rebound as more forests were planted. You see a deer stopping to get water at the pristine creek and snap a couple of beautiful shots. You head back to the house.
You turn on the news, wondering what new discoveries were made today. (You are no longer subjected to news of horrors, for humanity's major problems were caused by greed, power, lack and stress. The eradication of money and our economy as we knew it eliminated most of them. There are no more nations, only regions.) "Today, we learned how to 3D print water molecularly," you hear the newscaster say. You are thankful and excited by the implications. Your 3D printer receives an upgrade. You can now print your own water. (All upgrades are automatically downloaded and open sourced. No more wasted resources.) You turn your favorite kind of music on.
Your stomach grumbles. What would you like to eat today? You go to your jungle of plants and pick out a nice juicy looking pineapple and some strawberries. The flashing green light on their gauges indicates they are ready. You cut them how you want them and pop a bite of a little of each into your mouth. You still can't get over the wonderful taste. They are all fresh and picked at their peak, and grown in ideal environments organically, so they are incredibly delicious and nutritious.
Your day is yours alone. You can do with it what you will, so long as you don't harm the Earth, others, or their ability to thrive, the only law. Your only work is bettering humanity, and it doesn't seem like work at all, because it's within your realms of curiosity and exciting to you. Every day the world becomes better. Health problems are virtually unheard of now, as our environment is clean, we aren't under excessive stress, and we eat healthfully. Everyone you know has become so happy. Interpersonal problems are vanishing as people become happier and more self aware. Obesity is disappearing. The world is cleaner every day. People used to say this was impossible, but even the disbelievers are ecstatic. World peace is finally here. We found Utopia, together.
Hold this dream in your mind, meditate on it daily, for it is a shared one of most of humanity. Share enthusiastically please. I see this world every day, the world of our collective dreams.
