The Blatant Hypocrisy of Our Collective Hatred of Abuse While Continuing to Support and Enable a Society Built Upon It

We talk about abuse as if it’s a horrible thing; a terrible concept apart from ourselves; yet our way of life is the epitome of abuse. We abuse our planet by polluting it, looting it, and destroying it, abuse our brothers and sisters, who we share this planet with, even abuse and neglect ourselves regularly so that we can “survive” at the expense of our sanity, our freedom, our joy, our well-being and our entire lives eventually.

This way of living has stolen our futures, the futures of our children and those of generations beyond. It’s traumatized countless generations from forced neglect and the excessive anount of stress of living this way because our parents were forced, pressured and coerced to forfeit their time, their love, their attention, their care, their passions, their joy, for the perpetual pursuit of paper to pay for things to survive in fear of poverty for their children. And we were all conditioned and brainwashed to believe this was the only way it could be.

No person should ever be doing any of this. We’re supposed to grow, make and collect our own food and we’re supposed to be in touch with ourselves, our families, our children, our communities, and the Earth. We’re supposed to be the most major part of our children’s lives, not their school and their peers.

This way of living has damaged our planet to no end, yet we still contribute to its destruction daily in the name of conformity. There is a much better way of doing things in which we can all truly enjoy our lives and we’re all infinitely better off.

The way that we’re currently living has astronomically stunted our growth as individuals and a species while it has ensured that some get more money than they can even spend in one lifetime. Yet ironically it has stifled and repressed countless others who could’ve made huge contributions to our way of living and the quality of life for us all. In trying to empower themselves they’ve only disempowered us all. You could imagine if we had been living the way I described all along how much more advanced humanity could be right now and how much more powerful each of us could be at this very moment.

The good news is that we can do something about this right now. We can change the way that we all live and within a very short time become much more powerful than any of us are right now, but it involves giving everybody access to the best tools, technology, and all knowledge on earth, open sourcing most things, sharing information with each other instead of hoarding it ending wars, cooperating, stopping the pursuit of power over others and instead pursuing empowerment itself.

This world is only possible through transcending our ignorant ways. Look at the literal etymology of the word transcending- trance ending. We must end the trance we’ve been put under by upholding tradition over progress. We must cut through the lies and limitations that have been placed upon us through the narratives we‘re constantly bombarded with in the media, from our peers, and in movies, television, stories, video games and social media. While this is a painful process, it is necessary for the next step in our evolution. To not do so will be to continually push humanity closer to a hellscape of our own creation, incredible suffering and eventually its extinction.

Just one of the richest people in the world could fully finance this transition and still have enough money to survive, but this way of living will render money obsolete. It will get rid of all of the extra steps that are holding us all back and wasting countless lives, time, money, energy and resources.

There will be no need for oppressive governments. Governments will instead become social programs for our infrastructure and wellbeing. Even right now if we got rid of all of the politicians, we could use the money that we pay them all to fully fund 100% renewable everything for all. Our internet, entertainment, education, public transportation, would be free, etc. Our food could be grown in our own homes and would be fresher and more nutritious than any food that we get in the system currently unless we’re buying it from a farm directly. The government would also be responsible for our planetary cleanup so that we will all always have clean water, food, land and air. It would also regulate what products we could use in manufacturing everything according to whether they harm us or our environment.

This seems like it may be just a dream but everything we have in front of us now started as a dream, including the way we live now. If we all just stop doing it, it would end. The way we start this is through our small communities. If we do this in small areas simultaneously, it could get done faster than any of us can imagine. We could have power without the grid so that we wouldn’t be out of power when there’s a storm. We could put protection from things that could take out our power inherently built into our power systems.

In summary, the way that we’ve been living is insane. The definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results. I challenge you all to do something different. If you would love to see the beautiful future I described manifested, all it requires is your participation in transitioning through baby steps, and cooperating with your community. Our children need this. We need this. Our way of life is unsustainable and killing us. We can no longer bury our heads in the sand and quietly participate in our own destruction.
