10 World Problems We Can Vanquish Now

10 World Problems We Can Vanquish Now

Have you ever realized the beautiful world we could all co-create if only we let go of the quest for power over others, our addiction to money and economy, and embraced our fellow humans with unconditional love, benevolence, and altruism? Imagine the world we could create together if we were each as concerned for each other as we are for ourselves and our families... There are many things such a world would render obsolete, and the planet would be vastly improved upon their eradication.

1)Government

"But, how is government a problem? We need leaders to protect us and represent us." Actually, we don't. Imagine a well educated population, that deeply understands the science of the world, human psychology, sociology, the pertinence of sustainability and protecting our environment, and the major part government and economics have played in the destruction of our world? Would we really need a leader? No. Science, logic and reason would rule. Imagine that? There would be no wars without government. The governments of the world have been largely hijacked by those who have dominated the capitalist system, and their assets are being protected by the very laws they are making, themselves. Our rights are slowly being corroded. Our focus is aimed at the less important, likely designed conflicts of left vs. right, Trump vs. Hillary, etc. It seems they may have even thrown Bernie in there as a distraction who indeed speaks many truths, but as long as these people are in power, nothing great will be accomplished. They are the shadow government. They will kill, intimidate, or bribe to get their way, and no one is safe. Even a Green President would not be immune to this. I will cite Kennedy here, who tried to end the Federal Reserve. Bottom line: there is no point trying to use their predesigned structure to get what we want. It never will. They will throw us bones every now and then to keep us pacified, but their way will always teeter between a more liberal and less liberal extreme so they can ultimately completely take away any rights we might have. Think of the government in The Hunger Games... Does it sound appealing? Didn't think so.

2) Money and Economy

"But how has money itself done anything? It is only a tool used however the person who possesses it desires..." Yes, money is a tool, but it is being improperly used. The cards are stacked for the bankers, who charge interest, which fabricates money from nothing, and print their own, at least the Fed does. How can an entity such as this ever be defeated? It is also being used as bribery, it rewards selfish behavior, and encourages materialism, distracting us from the world's true problems, and convinces us and reinforces the idea that we must live in servitude to survive. There is only one way the big banks could ever be defeated: By not relying on money at all. "But how could we do anything without money?" Easily. We each grow our own food, cut out processed, store-bought foods, and work within our direct environment to survive. We cooperate in communities and barter. We help each other thrive, as this will ensure we all do thrive. We could have an extremely prosperous environment without money, government, and the danger of wars and senseless violence.

3)Wars and Senseless Violence

Wars and senseless violence have plagued humanity throughout history. First, it was likely over resources, to ensure survival, but they evolved to be over power, and power tends to corrupt.

"But how could we get rid of these things? They are a part of human nature." Actually, they aren't. Recent, in depth studies done by groups of researchers from Harvard and Yale suggest that our first instinct is cooperation (www.scientificamerican.com/article/scientists-probe-human-nature-and-discover-we-are-good-after-all/). And one can conclude that our environment is likely responsible for bad behavior. Social norms and an inadequate environment are likely responsible for the world's abhorrent behavior. Power and money have corrupted too many people to count, although there are surely some exceptions to the rule... The people with much more than enough are still in denial that their excess is sentencing many others to starvation and suffering. Their endless consuming is destroying environments and ecosystems. It is on all of us. If we participate in this system, we participate in, and endorse, the destruction of the world. What we allow, will continue.

4)Pollution

Pollution is becoming a big problem, altering the weather, destroying the environment, and causing animal extinctions, largely due to our capitalist society and unhindered pursuit of money, and the American Dream, to be rich. But what if we could all be effectively rich and live in luxury without money? WE CAN, but it involves completely redesigning our society. We are at a point where if we don't address this now, the climate will get out of control, and our world will become like Mars or Venus. This is fact. "What can I do about it now? I am only one person." Yes, you are one person, but that doesn't mean you don't have power. Each deed you do sends many ripples into the world, which each send their own ripples. In this you can truly imagine the real power your actions have on the world, and the future. You can plant trees. You can boycott corporate goods. You can grow your own produce and raise your own animals, guaranteeing they are raised humanely. You can barter. You can clean up trash and recycle. You can adopt a more minimalist lifestyle. You can raise your children to do these things and to possess a strong desire to do the right thing. You can teach others to do these things. Not because they need to listen, but because it's the right thing to do for the environment, which should have more rights than any one person. If you are insanely wealthy and want to help, you can ensure every person has unlimited food and clean water by developing and giving people enclosed grow systems, water filtration devices, and ensuring free power, education and internet for all. One would have to be insanely wealthy to do this, or be incredibly innovative... MacGuyver, where are you? ;)

5)Human Induced Suffering

How is suffering induced by humans? Well there is the obvious: war, murder, rape, violence and cruelty. But there are also some not so obvious forms of suffering brought on by humans: starvation (due to others' excesses and hoarding), disease (could be cured and prevented easier if money wasn't a factor), ignorance (could be eradicated with better education methods and without capitalism), mental and physical health problems, famine and environmental destruction (could be eradicated without capitalism). Literally all of these things could be eradicated without power and money, which create lack, and inspire violence. Don't believe me? Truly sit and think about it without distractions. Or if you don't have the patience, listen to this Aboriginal Elder's testimony of life without money (https://youtu.be/zroZKv07InU). Even the elite suffer. They can never know true love and trust, as they are likely always wondering if anyone around them is genuine. This would give them these things, and their quality of life would not only not have to change, but could be improved. It would definitely be uncomfortable at first, but it would offer them a priceless return.

6)Corruption

Corruption has infected almost every aspect of our lives today, thanks to capitalism.

"But how could we possibly destroy such an abstract concept, that is seemingly gargantuan and invincible?" We can destroy it by understanding its roots. Corruption is rooted in domination. When you add money to the equation, corruption is fueled tenfold. If no one were ever worried about dominating others and were unable to be bribed, how could corruption exist? It couldn't, and that's the only way it couldn't exist.

7)Poor Mental Health

I am a firm believer that mental health is a direct result of the environment. The environment is problematic and sick, so there are more and more mentally unhealthy people. Fix the environment, and I believe we would see much less of this. We must learn to raise our children healthily, treat others healthily, and let go of egos. This involves introspection and serious, uncorrupted scientific examination. It is possible, but within the shadow of the Medical Cartel, a pipe dream.

8)Poor Physical Health

I am also a firm believer that our physical health is more dependent on our environment than our genetics. Yes, there are certainly genetic conditions which effect our physical health, but a big thing that is missing from Western treatment is preventative care. We must honor our bodies more. We are brainwashed and conditioned to eat junk food, eat out, use store bought beauty products, and fill our homes with products, without really questioning what is in them, or if they are leaching chemicals into our environment which may be or become toxic. It's obvious that junk food hurts us, but for many of us that goes in one ear and out the other. Why? Because we are addicted to it, just like addicts to drugs. There are chemicals in everything that could make us feel good, and to stop eating them, will cause discomfort temporarily, but will reward you over and over. Do I eat junk food? Yes, sometimes, but not like I used to. I careened to 230 lbs. eating junk food and not exercising 15 years ago. Since then I have been slowly modifying my diet to become healthier. It started by simply eating more veggies, and now we eat all organic veggies and I cook practically everything from scratch. My health now is considerably better than it was then. I was borderline diabetic. The solution is to find healthy and delicious options. Kale chips are amazing. Fruits, and nuts are the best fast foods. I also exercise regularly. It's so important for your health. We hear these things from a young age, but tune them out, likely because we see others do the same. The power of social norms is immense. We must also, as a species, test products we use for toxicity before mass production, and ensure anything used on our bodies is safe, and even better, helpful. This will be much easier without capitalism, because a perpetually sick person is a lifelong customer.

9)Aging

"But the world is already overpopulated, how can we cure aging, knowing this?" The myth of the world being overpopulated is not true. For capitalism to work, yes, we are overpopulated, but can we find a way to live in harmony with the land, in spite of whatever population we have? I believe we can. Again, this is dependent on the end of capitalism, and likely government. We can cure aging right now with the aid of 3D printed stem cells from our own bodies. Disease would be reduced with this as well. Vision and hearing problems would be cured. How would that help heal the world? Well, if we were all eternally young, we could all easier help improve the world. If the entire population was always working on improving the world, we would have paradise. We could also colonize other planets and explore the universe easier.

10)Scarcity

Scarcity is a myth. It is fabricated, by design. We could feed the world if we didn't all focus on acquiring excess. We throw away roughly half of all produce in the US alone... HALF (About 60 million tons)! (www.theatlantic.com/amp/article/491513/) That amount of food alone could ensure 6 billion people didn't starve. Capitalism relies on the myth of scarcity. It lets them mark prices up, and a capitalist society would rather discard 60 million tons of food than feed 6 billion people for free. This is utterly insane. Even if we couldn't feed people with the excess, we can develop automatic farming methods on an individual and family level that would sustain us all indefinitely with a small investment, and eliminate the environmental cost, and nutrient depletion in their transportation. Possibly even 3D printing produce and meats will be an option, like the Jetson's. Capitalism is insanity. It is destroying the world, with the help of its hijacked governments. We need to defeat it. There is no other way I can imagine to end the entire legacy of madness.
